DAVID JUNGLEZ (brooklyn, nyc) has been a staple of the new york city drum and bass community as a engineer, promoter and dj for over 10 years. his vast knowledge and experience made him a much sought after live engineer for opus sound systems to work for such noted acts as louie vega and richie hawtin. he is also credited with having designed and built the infamous “refuge” outlaw sound system. as a promoter, david teamed up with kae-sharp to promote under the moniker “quality of life”. they have brought jungle and d’n’b legends such as goldie, grooverider and j majik to venues in nyc for the past 5 years. – stumbling across one of our stickers in downtown zurich, david hooked up with dub_ex_machina and initialized a lively musical exchange with NEW.COM (dub_ex_machina, comfortnoise). unsurprisingly this ended up in producing “comfortnoise podcast 010-0710”, a representative excess of immense basslines and some pretty implausible tunes. thank you david for this as unexpected as prosperous encounter!

in the beginning of the 1990’s ARAMIS(colmar, france) get interested in house and ambient. in the late 1990’s he had already been interested in the fusion of different electronic music styles, i.e. uk garage in its several forms (4x4 and 2-step), then brokenbeat, breaks and finally dubstep. at the turn of the 2000’s he joined the association "desertik" in strasbourg which organized open styled parties (with guests such as i-cube, troublemakers, michael rütten etc.), and "sunshine prod." in colmar that did house events (with guests like dj deep).

born in the valais, GRAVINA starts taking interest in electronic music at the beginning of the 90's, after experiencing shortly hip-hop and french variety music. fascinated not only by chicago and new york house, but also by the more tech-funk sounds of detroit and toronto, he will promote both styles by organizing many events in switzerland. between 2001 and 2006, gravina settles in the swiss german part of switzerland. this experience will lead him on a more groovy and minimal musical path. gravina nevertheless always kept his mind open, allowing him to sign his own personal project: electronicmusiclovers. gravina's deep, jazzy, funky and sexy dj sets are a subtle mix of old and recent productions, mostly from the usa.
